The ultimate motor drive for proportional movement.
There are two similar circuits on the PCB, each capable of driving a servo.
It provides an adjustable pulse for driving servos. The limits of the servos travel, can simply be adjusted using the trim pots provided on the PCB and it also allows a toggle switch or a rotary switch to be used to select several adjustable preset positions, or a circuit can be arranged to do it automatically.
The Crossing Boom Control K-CBC1 can be easily modified to do the job.
Simply leave out the motor control circuit and use the contacts on the relay to switch between a pair of trimpots on the servo driver PCB (printed Circuit Board).
The possibilities are numerous. Control a set of boom gates or the older style of gate can be driven.
A Very precise operating crane could be made for loading and unloading trains. Use a servo to drive a wagon tripper of the sort that is used to empty wagons into waiting ships. A simple turn table can be made to operate from a large, heavy duty servo. Although servo's are only limited to roughly 270 degrees a little shunting may be required for a full 360 degree turning circle.

A simple, high performance throttle, featuring a PWM FET output and a voltage controlled input.
The simplest version of the PWM throttle has two controls: speed and direction. Its even possible to remove the speed control pot altogether and use two push buttons in its place, one for accelerating and one for braking.
If computer control is what you are after, the throttle may be controlled either by a digital to analogue converter, or by selecting different voltage levels from a divider chain using 4051 analog multiplexer. In the second case, there will be only eight speeds available, but if the momentum circuit is used, it will smooth out the steps, making the transitions from one speed to the next undetectable.

Delays a train from exiting a tunnel to give the appearance of a long tunnel. Can also be used to control signals at a station for the train to stop making the train wait for a predetermined time before letting it continue. With this arrangement the sensor will automatically stop the train with the isolated track and the signal will remain red, when the train is at the station. After the predetermined time the signal will turn green, the relay will close and let the train continue.
Another use this module has is a two aspect signaling system with the onboard LED or lamp drivers.
With the addition of an express switch the tunnel stretcher or station signals may be overridden, forcing the signal green and letting an express or goods train pass on by without the delay.
