Clever People

Everyone wants to be CLEVER.
And everyone want to be remembered.

But what is cleverness?

Cleverness is adding to the state of things by making an advancement improvement or addition.
There thousands of clever people and thousands who have left their mark on improving the world.
We see clever (brilliant) things done by people every day and whish "we had thought of it!"
The clever part is delivering your clever design to the rest of the world.
Let others take advantage of your idea and improve the "lot" of everyone.
Clever things have come from the simplest of people and made many of them multi-millionaires.
Others have made a contribution and gained absolutely nothing, other than notoriety.
The internet pioneer who introduced the symbol "@" for an email account, the inventor of "silly putty" and the chemist who made use of reside from beer production to produce Vegemite, a salty, black, yeast extract that is spread on toast.
But there are thousands of improvements being added every day in the form of clothing, toys, food, chemicals, websites, machines and the inventive mind is ever-expanding.
The patents office in the USA tried to close down in the 1920's, saying everything had been invented and the office was no longer needed.
How wring they were.
Inventions have only multiplied since then and the possibilities with carbon nanotube technology hasn't even been touched.
Eventually we will have carbon-fibre products 5 times stronger than steel and 5 times lighter.
And solar cells 5 times more efficient than today's.
Bundling all the advancements together will allow us to produce our own electricity, recycle water and become self-sufficient - removing the enormous burden of electricity, gas and water bills.
But we need more clever people.
Those with the idea of advancing the nation and not subjugating the masses.
It will just take one or two radical inventions to change the lives of everyone. To make everyone self-sufficient and not rely on energy and life's basics at enormously inflated prices.
But you don't have to think BIG to become a clever person.
Some of the simplest things are waiting to be invented and introduced.
You just have to realise that everything you need is also needed by everyone else.
It's just a matter of promoting the idea and get it out to the masses.
I invented the 4 socket power board 5 years before they came on the market.
But 40 year's ago there was no need for a 4-socket power-board.
We did not have that many appliances and a simple double-adaptor could be used to increase the outlets on the wall.
How wrong it was.
Hundreds of millions of power boards have been sold and the original inventor is now living on "easy street."
You just never know how well your idea will be accepted and that's what makes a clever person.
It' no good being a clever person if you hide your ability under a blanket.
A clever person makes the most of what he has to offer and sometimes the rewards are enormous and sometimes you just get an accolade.
