Is God Dead?

Let's look at this in a practical, sensible way.

Everyone wonders if someone (or some-thing) is looking over us and controlling our "every-move."

We hear the comment: "this will put the fear of GOD into you."

The fact is this: You should always perform tasks and carry out your life with tasks that don't exceed the laws of physics and treat everyone as you would like them to treat you.

This obviates the need for repentance and saves you worrying if:  retribution will be "on the cards."

By simply "doing the right thing," you will live a clean life and not expect some form of punishment to come "down on you."

Unfortunately no-one gets off "Scott free" in this world and sometimes a catastrophe or calamity happens to the "nicest of people."

No-one knows why, but the old saying: "things happen in three's" is certainly true.
You can get a run of bad-luck and have to deal with one trauma after another, to the point where you think "things cannot get worse."

Providing something momentous does not happen, you can count yourself lucky.
Consider the number of injured, maimed, traumatized, bed-ridden, deaf, blind, OCD, OCHD, jailed, betrodden, homeless  people in the world. There is just you and me remaining.

No-one can predict the future, but one way to ensure the best path is to refrain from taking any form of drug (pills, alcohol, LSD, nicotine, Ice etc) and keep to a weight-maintaining diet with some exercise.

It might seem like a Spartan life-style with no pleasures and excitement , but if you want a really exciting life with lots of reward, go to a soup-kitchen and feed 500 eager diners who have "fallen off the end of the road."
Or go to a hospital or nursing home and assist those who really need help.

This will pull you "back into line."

I remember: crying because I had no shoes, until I met a man who had no feet."

So, when disaster strikes, do you think "God has abandoned me?"

Good and bad happens to Nuns as well at the notorious.

Rudolph Hess, one of the instigators of the notorious Gestapo Concentration camps,  went to jail for his crimes but lived to the age of 93 in a prison cell with 3 nutritious meals a day.
Where is the justice?

Nuns die young with cervical cancer because they don't have sex.
Where is the justice?

So, is God dead?

At the beginning we said we would deal with this rationally.

The rationale behind this is creation.

But there are two views. CREATIONISM and EVOLUTION.

Up to now you had to be in one camp or the other.

If you believe in God, you can't believe in evolution.

But this is not logical.

An intelligent person can believe BOTH. It's a bit like having a "two way bet."

An intelligent person cannot see how a simple single-cell organism can expand into a complex, trillion-cell human-being. How can eyes, ears, mouth generate into a perfect structure. Where are all the cast-offs? All those with 3 legs or one eye, who did not compete with the "perfect man."

All the skeletons dug up from the past, resemble modern-man and no-where can we find branches of humanity that failed to populate due to two heads or three arms.

This means the possibility of an instant creation is the only answer to the question: "where did we come from?"

Now, along with instant creation, we can see the change in the population, over the past 100 years, let alone the past million years.

In the past 100 years, menstruation has lowered from 21 years to 14 years.

Chinese and Asian children who come to a Western country and consume a lot of protein, (milk, dairy, meat, fish) become a lot fatter than their counterparts in an Asia or China.

The introduction of a high-protein diet is claimed to be responsible for an increase of 30% in our brain-size.

All this has happened over the past few-thousand years, imagine what could have happened over the past million years.
But there is no evidence of major genetic changes. No link between embryos and moneys and man. No fossils have been found with any diverse changes from homo erectus.

In fact hundreds of dinosaurs have been dug up from a time when floods drowned the animals in a very large large area.

It would be logical to expect humans to be dwelling within the same area.

Since no human remains have been found with dinosaurs, it is logical to say that humans DID NOT EXIST at that time.

This gives credence to the hypothesis that humans came on this earth in the past few million years and their arrival is basically in the form we see everyone today.
There is no evolutionary trend from a fish to a monkey to a human.  The human just appeared in one of the past era's.  That's CREATIONISM.

Now we come to the final conclusion.

You can realistically conclude that humans somehow appeared in the form we presently call "MAN"  with some adjustments, improvements and changes due to environment, food, breeding, food, education and medicine.   This puts you in both camps and satisfies our question: Where did I come from?
