We were amazed at the performance of this unit. We were able to detect our S-SB1000 set at 94MHz up to 5 metres away, a 900MHz video transmitter with a 50 metre range was detected 3 metres away and a 2.4GHz video transmitter with a 20 metre range was detected 2 metres away.

The detecting range of this unit is from 50MHz to 3GHz or 3000MHz.

The LED bar graph indicates the strength or proximity of the transmitter and a beep from a built in speaker will progress faster the closer you get to the transmitter.

There is also a battery low indicator that will illuminate when the batteries are low.

The unit weighing 90 grams comes with batteries,  earphone for personal listening and instructions.

S-DVR19 19 hour Digital Voice Recorder $550.00

This recorder has two recording modes depending on the duration required. SP mode for best recording will record for a maximum of 9 hours and 35 minutes and LP mode will record for 19 hours.

Other modes available are VOX, microphone sensitivity high or low, key beep and scan index mode.

Unit comes with external microphone, mono earphone, batteries, user manual and CD ROM PC software to transfer audio to your PC as WAV files.

Including batteries the unit weighs 60 grams and the battery life is 11 hours recording or 10 hours playback through the earphones. Longer times can be achieved with alkaline or lithium batteries.

Our tests prove that in  LP mode, the recording quality is better than that of a micro cassette recorder and because there are no moving parts, the unit should last forever.
