This book is based on Learning and secrets and the theory behind micro-power FM transmission.

With the introduction of surface-mount, many of the circuits can be constructed on very small printed circuit boards and fitted into all kinds of everyday products such as pens, picture frames, hollowed-out books ect.

We have not followed this path as we solely interested in presenting them projects as a means to learning electronics. And with our range of different designs, it is an ideal way to master the subject.

The reason for this is the amazing results you can achieve from a transmitter, using just a handful of components.

FM transmitters produce a crystal clear transmission with superb audio sensitivity. They will transmit hundreds of meters to a normal FM radio and you can pick up the licking of a clock, the whisper of people in a large room or the sounds of an intruder entering the promises at night. They have hundreds of uses, but the best fun you can have is with construction.

 FM transmitters are a very economical way to learn electronics. You can learn about audio amplification, RF oscillator tank circuits, antenna coupling and lots of other elements we call 'Building Blocks." As you build up your knowledge through conventional as well as surface mount construction, you can see how things go together and maybe get into the world of designing one day.

Our Projects are one of the most advanced forms of construction for hobbyists with surface-mount miniaturisation, double sided boards as well as well-designed layouts- Not all of them are covered in this book however we have many books available and lots more an the way.

The articles for the electronic kits in these books have extensive notes for all of the projects, they include: an introduction and kit uses, a circuit diagram, Parts lists, how the circuit works, modifications, construction details, and trouble shooting notes.
