New Model 6GHz RF Signal Detector (BD3001)

• The BD3001 is a hand-held broad band receiver that will scan and detect frequencies between 30MHz - 6000MHz (6GHz).
• It will detect transmitting devices and bugs in a room, car, office or the telephone.
• The BD3001 will detect the presence and locate most devices that transmit a Radio Frequency; here are just a few of those devices:

• FM and UHF Room bugs
• FM and UHF Telephone line audio transmitters.
• Mobile Phones i.e. Dual GSM and Satellite Phones and Alarm Dialers.
• Video and wireless camera transmitters.
• Potable telephones.
• Wireless alarm sensors.
• Remote Controls and key Fobs for garage doors and car locks.
• Pagers, Alarm Pagers and SMS devices.
• UHF CB radios and personal radios.
• Walkie-Talkies.
• Wireless headphones.
• GPS tracking Units, GPS systems and communicators.
• Radio Station Transmitters and Repeaters.
• Satellite communications.
• Wireless data communicators i.e. Bluetooth.
• It will NOT detect Infrared (TV Remotes).
• With a sweeping motion use the unit’s extendable antenna to scan a suspicious area and pin-point any transmitting bugs or devices.
• While using the BD3001 to sweep and detect transmitters, turn off all other known transmitting devices in the area. Turning down the sensitivity of the BD3001 will ignore these transmissions thus hence making the sensitivity and detection range much lower.
• It may pick-up stray frequencies like Taxi’s and Police transmitters, when left on for long periods of time. Even if mobile phones are left on they talk to the base every few minutes. This will be picked up by the BD3001.
• The retractable antenna may be extended by attaching a length of thin hook-up wire.
• This unit will detect a 1000meter FM Bug set at 94MHz at 5metres, a 900MHz video transmitter with a 50metre range was detected 3metres away and a 2.4GHz video transmitter with a 20metre range was detected 2metres away.

Specifications

• The LED bar graph indicates the signal strength or proximity of the transmitter and a beep from a built in speaker will progress faster the closer you get.
• The battery low indicator will illuminate when the batteries are low.
• Three monitoring modes are available: the built-in speaker, the personal ear phone and the covert vibration mode.
• The unit weighs only 90 grams
