  The bell sound is the third module of the level crossing. Sound is a detail rarely included in model railway crossings because of the difficulty in producing realistic bell tones.
  There are two methods that can be used to produce the bell sound: obviously the first is by using a bell.
  Unfortunately, the small bells used are incapable of producing a good tone.
The second method is to generate the sound electronically. The quality of an electronic bell tons depends entirely on the design of the circuit.
  The circuit described here generates two bell tones, both at approximately the same frequency. One is slightly delayed to be as near to the sound of prototype crossings as possible.
  The crossing sound module is just one part of four modules. The crossing sound is designed to be an expandable module. There are three more modules that can be added to this initial kit, they include the level crossing, the boom control and the crossing expansion.
  Each of the individual train modules contain extensive articles that are included with them. These articles contain topics and content such as: Introduction and explanations, module uses, how the circuit works, Circuit diagrams, photos, connection diagrams and more.
The switch is to select the 'singe' or 'double' bell sound.

NOTE: THE CROSSING SOUND WILL ONLY WORK WITH THE LEVEL CROSSING.

INSTALLATION AND SETUP:
- Setup the level crossing and test that it works properly.
- Turn off or disconnect the power.
- Place the unit above the level crossing on the table and jumper the 4 outputs of the level crossing (+12v, ground, Engage and Clock) to the inputs of the crossing sound.
- Connect the supplied speaker to the crossing sound module.
- Apply the power and cover one of the sensors on the level crossing. The lights will flash and the crossing sound will turn on.
- The onboard switch will select the single or double bell sound.
- The bell sound will turn of with the crossing lights.
