Phone in use indicator

This is an affordable, high quality device that will help manage your home or business phone. Containing an Integrated Circuit, it is reliable and guaranteed to always work.

The PIU (Phone In Use) Indicator will blink an LED (red light) when the phone is picked up, in use or left off the hook. The blinking will stop when all phones are on the hook and the phone on the line is ready to receive or make a call.

The PUI Indicator can be plugged in anywhere on the telephone line i.e. before or after phones, on the end of an extension lead, or at a spare wall socket.

Any number of units can be used on the same phone line at different points or phones.

You can connect the unit so that only one side of the PIU Indicator has a Phone Line plugged in, such as into a spare wall socket. Just make sure that it is connected to the line that you would like to monitor - and you can position the unit so that the status of the phone line can be monitored from afar.

INSTALLATION METHOD:
Built into a double adaptor, this device is easily installed in only a few seconds:
-To install the unit, just unplug the phone line from the base of the phone and replace it with the patch cord.
- Plug the end of the patch lead and the phone line into either ends of the double adaptor.
-To TEST that it is working, pick up the phone and the LED should start flashing immediately. (Make sure that you replace the handset after the testing period).
