Telephone Line Recorder (4-prong AWA) • Plug the telephone line into any audio recording device, such as a tape recorder, a digital voice recorder, or a computer sound card. A very discrete device that can be plugged in anywhere on the line that you would like to record, such as a spare wall socket at the other end of the line. Just make sure that it is actually plugged into the line that you would like to monitor and not another line such as the fax line. It will not work on a digital phone line i.e. a phone network that has many phones connected to it. Use a VOX, VOR (Voice Activated Recorder) with the recorder cable so that the tape will start and stop every time that phone is picked up and put down, so that at the end of the day the tape will only contain the phone conversations and no lengthy blank spots. Connected across the telephone line in parallel. No external power is required. A very discrete device that is undetectable. Has to be physically found to be detected.
Specifications	2 meter cord with a mono 3.5mm audio plug. Plugs directly into the MIC input of a tape recorder.
